Administrators' Message

Dear Students and Parents,

It seems like it was yesterday and we were welcoming you to a new school year and here we are starting June and saying goodbye to another year of learning!

On behalf of the St. Rose staff, I would like to thank you for the trust and support you have shown for us; it has made for a very enjoyable year.  It has been an honor and privilege to work with your children.

To our Grade 9’s our best wishes for much success in your future academic endeavors. To those of you returning next September for grade 8 or 9, we look forward to journeying with you again next year!

 A reflection to share with your family

God,

Everywhere I look, people are offering quick results. “Lose 10 pounds in one week.”  “Learn to golf on one easy lesson.”  “Make big money with one quick phone call.”  What can I say?  We’re a country of people looking for a quick fix!  It seems like everyone expects to get what they want without putting out much effort.

God, I’ll be honest.  I do the same thing.  I want to get good grades without working too hard. I want a job that pays decent money but doesn’t require much effort.  I want things to be smooth with my family without spending much time working  on it.  And I want my  relationship with you to be strong even when I’m not giving it much thought.

I admire people with character and integrity, those who are willing to put out the effort and time it takes to do something right.  They seem to get more out of life.  Help me to be that kind of person.
